yup, exactly about the rust, oh sweet, can you get pics of it? my buddy had a 59 olds 4 door but had the wrap around rear window, he was giving it to me then he passed away and the family took it and scraped it, this didnt have an ounch of rust on it, it was all diffrent colors from sun fad and no interior, it was out of arizonia, didnt even have surface rust, it was his prized poseion and knew he was dieing and knew i would take care of it, but too late but love to see pics of yours Oh man i think a tear just came to my eye. Ours has the wraparound back window too, but shes a rusty pig. My dad was poor as nuts when he was driving it, so it was driven EVERY DAY. And here in WI that means RUST. Ill get pics tomarow in the sun, you can see the front of it in the pic on the first page. wait i think i have some.... Its getting paint soon, and it does look a little better then this already! Yep no need to throw it away, rust comes off! Good news on that 59 olds, as of today it run and drives!

most of the monte carlo's around my area are used for parts (bumpers and motors), and then scrapped But then again most old cars in mn aren't clean enough to use anyways haha
