alot of you guys who make demo cars usaul put some kind of mud on em!!! i prefer using real mud and this involves just that!!! I always wondered how would you go about makin the mud last and stay and decided to experiment. I made a couple wheels and tires all muddy on one of my derby cars and after the mud air dried. I took a can of dupli color clear coat and cleared over the mud and the wheels and tires. This trick works it will make the made last heres a photo of my finished product

only thing i would be aware of is your putting a clear coat on mud and clear coat gives paint a gloss so i would try to find a FLAT clear coat other then that great tip thanks

I use mud that I scrape off my bike after riding the trails...it's a nice colour and is really strong. I didn't clear coat it or anything and it's still on the car. It looks like the mud after it's dried, the day after the derby.

i use bondo, and just kinda slap it on, then i paint that, very good for a mud fest demo like i have around here. you can also take it easy and just add alittle bit and paint it and im sure it will look good to
