1:24 scale property with garage, scaled to be around 50 ft wide and 40 ft long, with a 2-bay 32 ft deep, 26 ft wide main section with two 10x10 doors (might be 12-ft tall, I forget now) and a 17 ft wide, 18 ft deep side bay with a 10-ish ft wide, 8-ish ft tall door on it. There's also three access doors that are around 6 1/2 feet tall and 32-in wide... Not the smoothest of cuts on the sides - used scrap cardboard I found in the trash at work and used a box cutter. Basted together with masking tape for now. Happy so far with it, considering this is my first try at it. Has room for four cars, and space outside for a trailer. Hope to add a second level/shelf for tire storage, and get it painted up with little shop accessories...

Haven't figured out the roof yet... May fly without one. Have some tools for inside coming...
Errored in paint already - was going with a creme colored outside to setup a two-tone look with brown on the lower part of the walls. The light color brings out the flaws in the carboard. Not all for a loss, though. I think this could open the door for weathering. One spot has a 'hole' that some insulation stuffing could 'hang' out of, and the other spots could be dents in a simulated metal facade. Also planning on taking flat, thin square-ended craft sticks to make door mouldings (in and out) and two-tone break for the walls (in and out).
Thinking of using straws for downspouts, and using thin popsickle sticks for an upper-lever storage shelf for tires or maybe the air compressor...
Got the floor kind of sprayed up, too... black base, gray primer over the black for the stained concrete floor and a thicker flat black with a beaten brown flake over it for the surrounding 'driveway.'
This is a rough start for a more refined run with elmer's foamboard. This is all just junk cardboard - not much cash invested in picking through used boxes at work. Once I get the process and painting down, I'll go out and get the more expensive building board or even wood, lol. And I am not good at measuring and cutting at all... can't see straight lines, so a test run is worth a try!

i am going to have to shut it down. there is no windows for proper ventilation and the load bearing walls arent 16 on center lol, jk looks good mane. i only got a over sized two car with shop tools, and work bench, palet racking for motors and misc parts, shelving and racking for rear ends, metal, bumpers, radiators, and motor parts. welder and torch set, jack stands, creeper, jacks, and a car lift, and am currently getting a tv and mounted on the wall and have my piles of tires along the outside. out side is my stuffer car full of interior parts and fresh shells. all surrounded by privacy fench and a natural grass and gravel style ground. it has taken me around two years to get this far and have built over 50 cars that have all been in this garage. as taky as it sounds i actually build my cars in that garage and used the jack stands. get pics soon

got a bunch of little things like jacks and stuff coming soon... even found a couple 'crate engines' on palletts, lol. Got a good deal on a mess of stuff through a hobby store. Jacks, cutting torches, wire frame racks, oil quarts/cases, air compressor, cases of beer... lol... should help move things along. Was at WalMart and found some gray, brown and black flekstone finish paint by rustoleum. Nice textured finish (also found spray-on textured spackle) Might make a good surface for the concrete and black-top, and maybe for rust texture on cars ... ? Have to figure out a way to two-tone the outside/inside walls. I think the way to go would be cut/painted model boxes or index cards, glued to the wall, with a small flat piece of painted wood as moulding? Got tied up building my car for the NYE derby and this has taken a backseat for the moment...
