that's awesome. Love it. how'd you pull off the dusty, scaley look? I misted flat black, flat white, rusty primer and gray primer over the body. I would mist 2 of these colors at a time in circles over the body and then 2 different color combinations. For example Fl. black and Fl. white then rusty primer and Fl white then grey primer and flat black and so on. Then I scraped some pastel earth tone chalks with an exacto knife and then dry brushed it around the doors, hood and trunk openings and around the hood area.

I've done some chalking, as well. Love the outcomes. I put the sidewalk chalk by Crayola in small lunch bags and smash it up with a hammer.... It pulverizes pretty well and then I transfer it to a bag w/o any holes.
I found you can spray the body with cheap hairspray and use a brush to rub the chalk flakes on and they stick better than just applying them. Works better if you used a spray enamel basecoat... acrylic will wash off with pretty much any application of fluid.
You probably already knew all this, but it felt good to share something. Results look fantastic!
