Everybody Seems to think that the Duke boys got their start with a brand new Dodge. The truth is they got their start just like alot of derby drivers. They got an old hand me down Hazzard County Cruiser that ran like crap and was wrecked. With a little help from "Crazy Cooter" and Money from helping Uncle Jesse with a little deliver here and there of his special Brew They got a Slick Orange Paint Job and a tune up. However because the car had the same engine as Rosco and Enos Cruiser The Good Old Boys could Not Out run them so Thay had to up Grade. Hince the Dodge Charge "General Lee".
