Nice Monte. I love the #2 Rusty Wallace Grand Prix in the background. I just bought one off e-bay Factory sealed. It was issued in 1985 my wife could not belive I opened it up and started it.

are you sure its a 78? mabey its just the mesed up proporsions of the model, but it looks like a later model to me. Cool build though.

im not 100% on the year i know the body style is 78-81 i think they ended those, i know the 80' has diffrent headlights than this one, this one has 2 big lights with wrap around turn signals and the 80 has 4 lights with turn signal below lights,
im not the biggest GM guy but i think the monte carlos went 70-72 73-77 78-81 82-89 93-00 01-07? ill have to do some googleing lol

It's a 78 or 79.. 80 had dual headlights.. I agree with the shine runner idea.... But then, have you seen my shiners??? I LIKE'M!!!!

yea they just rerereleased this kit with the 80 headlights, it comes with a custom chopper and trailer,
yea its a great shine runner, all black hehe, i need to work on the motor and see how beafy i can make the small block hehe
