idk about that. I check in on this site every day. Since everything got stripped down, there's nothing to check in on/maintain. There are several posts going on both places.
lest we all forget that a year ago, a similar post was made. Likewise, a year before that. Every year, this place goes quiet as spring approaches, and then revs back up leading into contests. Last year, it was three weeks earlier this place was rumored to be a ghost town, and then on Feb 14 Josh hosted the St. Valentines Day Massacre.
A handful of people abdicated positions of power, but given history, I don't believe anyone has sincerly 'left' or 'abandoned' at any point.
Also, given what is and isn't scheduled on Scale Demo and CrazyJs, is anyone suprised foot traffic there is higher than on here?
People have been writing eulogies for this site for two years, and in lieu of events elsewhere, often suggest another nail is in the coffin... yet, the site always rises.
I mean, some ambiguous force came through and shut everyone off only weeks before the deadline of the first of three events... Many took that as writing on the wall. But people are still talking... and if it is truly over, they seem most content to simply talk to themselves.
This place isn't going to have an overnight renaissance. No site will. Given time, traffic will come back. It always has.

first off guys troy got booted off that site because of the way he introduced himself. acting a fool. thats a little fact you guys didnt know. nothing to do with power, but nice try. the scale demo site is a copy of old WECRASH not crazy j's. The mods keep that place clean and organized...unlike others sites.(not just this one) im not here to compare sites or what not cause im only interested in HHIII and where ever that contest is held ill be there. some of you guys seem jealous or upset that people have migrated over there. Why so serious? i was always under the assumption the more the merrier. be open minded and dont try and start a war between the two sites. only time will tell where the mass will end up posting. heres the funny part....when wecrash was working we had two sites. NOONE likes the new wecrash so they tried to copy that so we can still have TWO sites. its no different than that you guys are thinking too much about it.

im not trying to start fights, and 2 sites is healthy, im just tired of waisting my time trying to make this place better and fair then i get smartass's pissed at me, this site has battled worse, it WILL survive, with or without people i dont recall anyone ever getting pissed at you....never heard talk about you or anything..all the grip was the mods not maintaining the site. If the mods will do that then yes ur correct the site will survive. it has for years and i dont see it slowing down now. |

i got rid of all mods, and im working on new ideas,
but for anybody wondering, this place is here to stay... even if its just me setting in the corner, the sites here to stay,
i made my account on the other board for the contests, ive already got my entry fee in so you guys are stuck with me for 2012,

You all need to get your facts straight. Scale-demo is not a copy of wecrash or js. We did not boot deadman either. He deleted his account after ranting about our site. Funny thing is he is now a member of our site. We didn't make the site for power to control the competition. Check the results for hh2 and fall classic. I beat Troy in both and doc I beat you in fall classic an barely lost in hh2. Troy won't be banned on our site as long as he can act reasonably like the rest of the members on there. We made the new site cause wecrash has gone downhill and this site was dead and not maintained. If you don't like the other site then don't use it.

Im a good builder and have results to prove it. I like having competition. It wouldn't be fun to go against a bunch of models that suck and win everytime. It's always good to have a challenge. guys this is my thoughts....first off there is no reason to get in a shouting match. either site isnt leaving cause they both have contest. with that being said we need to embrace all of this. bigger is better. we still have 2 sites as usually. the more spots we have the better chances we can gain new members into our faction. maybe someone runs across scale demo and then is linked to this site and vice versa. THATS NOT A BAD THING! just embrace this place like we embraced yours. once the contest roll around each site will get the activity it deserves. i can tell u this. havok III is gonna be nuts. 100 car contest and people are worried this place will die. it will survive.

Exactly I don't see this site going anywhere with hh3 being here. Why is there need for you all to complain about having another site. It's the Internet for christs sakes. You can't even count how many websites that are out there.

Sorry but I guess that was what I have heared from many people and just went with that sorry for that its just what it seema so be, being that no one post over here, i guess it just felt like everyone wants it to die and then it would only be the other. Troy as my so called "talk" that you could care less about you still seem to always have a negative opinion on what I say. You must care some with as much attention you pay to it. It doesn't bother me that your on our site. You can go ahead and say what needs to be said and be "blunt" about it. Go ahead and show your 15 year old maturity level like last time. I will handle any problems on there like last time. I removed it to keep drama down on our site.
